Happy Hound helps USF psychologist start Dog phobia support groups

TAMPA,fl—a 500k grant Is donated by Happy Hound to help a USF Psychologist in his plan to start support groups dedicated to people with a fear of dogs.

Happy Hound’s grant donation is a way for the company to ensure that people enjoy their experiences with dogs and furthermore represent their love for dogs and animals in general.

“At Happy Hound, we believe it’s important for people to establish positive relationships with dogs,” Marshall said.  “Dogs are supposed to be our best friends. We think all two-legged creatures should be able to enjoy all that our four-legged friends have to offer.”

USF psychologist Emanuel Rogers concentrates on the interaction between animal and humans. His observation of individuals who had a fear of dogs and the desire to help them opened doors for him to be able to create these support groups.
